Last month Matt and I traveled to Wisconsin’s Lake Country for Jeff and Amy’s wedding. They were such a fun couple with lots of energy and we had a great time hanging out with them.
We always encourage our brides and grooms to see each other before the ceremony for a private photo shoot with just them and us. We can scout out a great location with natural light and catch some truly candid moments between the couple by planning this. We make it special by having the bride or groom walk up behind the other and when they are ready, they turn and face each other. We capture the moment from two angles so we not only get the look on the groom’s face, but also the brides’. Then we take time to shoot romantics and wedding party and family pictures so that the couple can relax and enjoy the evening without leaving their guests hanging between the ceremony and reception. There are some great examples of Jeff and Amy’s private meeting below.
Thanks, guys, for inviting us to be a part of your big day!
