Connie and Brian will be getting married here in Chicago this coming September at The Modern Wing. They currently live in New York, though, so a couple of weeks ago Matt and I went out to photograph their engagement session there. Connie and Brian have been inseparable for well over a decade and have spent much of their time traveling the world and living the life of adventure together. One of Brian’s favorite things about Connie is that she laughs a lot and when she does, she laughs like no one is watching. She’s full of joy and I love how that showed through in these photos. The last place we visited during our time together was the Third Floor Cafe in Koreatown. The two of them have spent many hours here with each other and with friends and it was great to hear all of their stories and memories that were a part of this place. It was a perfect ending to the night. You can see the full set of images on Pictage here.
A big thanks to our ever wonderful friend and make-up artist Kerry who did a knock out job on Connie’s make-up. Also thanks to Misse from Honey Bee Weddings who is in charge of coordinating all the ins and outs for the wedding day and who also did an excellent job of making sure the engagement session was perfectly planned. It’s nice to have someone like Misse around to make sure things go smoothly especially when working with out of town clients. Connie and Brian made us feel so welcomed in their city and were an absolute pleasure to be around.
