Rebecca + Dan | Bloomington Country Club

Rebecca and Dan came into our lives a little over a year ago. After our first meeting, we fell in love with these two. Though they live in Chicago, they decided to get married in Bloomington where Rebecca was originally from and where her parents and some of her family still live. The have a passion for keeping things classic and have a deep rooted respect for tradition. Both the church and country club were where Rebecca’s two siblings and best friend hosted their weddings which carried a lot of meaning in making the decision. Even the bartender, Dorris, had become a special part of the family since she had been around for all of the weddings.

Rebecca describes the style of their wedding to a T: “classic chic and sophisticated with a bit of preppy infusion.” I loved how the whole event was a direct reflection of who Rebecca and Dan are. They designed the evening’s menu around their favorite restaurants and created a signature mojito cocktail since that was what they drank on their first date. Everything from the flowers to the paper and even the fashion were all things that Rebecca loves. Their biggest goal in designing the event was to make sure that the day represented them completely while connecting their family and friends together and continuing on the tradition. I think they did just that!
