We’ve been lucky enough to check out some of Chicago’s newest wedding and event venues we are looking forward to working with. If you are searching for a wedding venue in Chicago, be sure to add these to your list!
Chez (Opening April 2014)
Chez is the first open loft space downtown providing an alternative to more traditional hotel venues typically found close to the Mag Mile. However, Chez’s close proximity to over 60 hotels ensures your guests will always have a place to stay. The venue once played host to Chez Paree, a swanky speakeasy in 1920’s which later became one of Chicago’s most popular live entertainment venues. The current space has been redesigned and features white-washed walls, exposed beams and stunning floor to ceiling windows.
City View Loft is the latest addition to the West Loop’s repertoire of raw, industrial venues. Situated facing east, City View offers amazing skyline views and locally sourced, organic menus from their in-house caterer, Pure Kitchen Chicago.
While the Symphony Center isn’t a new venue, many people actually don’t know they host weddings and events. Fortunately the Chicago Symphony takes the summer off, allowing the venue to be rented during peak wedding season. With plenty of event spaces to choose from – ballrooms, lofty atriums, garden patios – there isn’t a pocket of the Center we don’t adore.
Last but not least, keep Morgan Manufacturing (401 N. Morgan) on your radar. This West Loop spot isn’t open just yet, but we are looking forward to visiting soon.
