One of the coolest things that a bride has said to us was that she knew she had found her dress when she saw one that ‘matched’ her venue. When we arrived at the Public Hotel where both Kelly and Steve got ready the morning of their wedding we knew exactly what she meant. Her Anne Barge dress was both fun and sophisticated. This hotel is a perfect canvas for creating images on your wedding day if your style is chic, yet relaxed. If there’s any moment throughout the wedding day that really does a number on us it’s always a first look. We saw Steve’s eyes well up at the sight of Kelly and we nearly lost it too! We grabbed Kelly and Steve’s gray + navy clad crew before heading to North Ave beach for some much anticipated sunshine and cool lake breeze. Keeping with their sleek and lighthearted theme guests dined amongst white calla lilies and a red Fiat for their Museum of Contemporary Art reception. And forget an empty dance floor! The Flash Dance made the trip all the way from California just for this wedding so they made sure to keep the dance floor full all night. Kelly and Steve-you have definitely perfected the art of a well rounded wedding.
