Paul and Katie | Hidden Falls Ranch Wedding

Paul and Katie are some of the hippest people we know and they absolutely adore one another. They chose to have their outdoor wedding ceremony at the beautiful Hidden Falls Ranch where they both had spent many summers as either campers or camp counselors. The rugged location was perfect for them and their own personal style. Since this was a place where I had also spent a summer as a camp counselor with Katie it was even more exciting to be a part of the day and see so many old friends. The ranch sits on the edge of Palo Duro Canyon and the view from their ceremony was simply stunning. As Matt and I are wrapping up our 2 week holiday visit with his family here in Amarillo, TX, I thought this post would be most appropriate. Our next venture is TN where Matt will spend next weekend at Jeremy Cowart’s workshop in Nashville. From there we will head to Knoxville to spend a few days with my family. We hope you all have enjoyed the holidays and we wish all of you the best in 2010!

Glamour and a Sense of High Style

Stephanie and Navid have style. From the way they decorate their chic and savvy condo in the West Loop of Chicago to knowing how to throw a killer party in one of the city’s hippest photo studios in the South Loop. They love having fun with their friends and it is apparent that they know when to not take life too seriously. Their beautiful ceremony took place at Hyde Park’s 1st Unitarian Chruch followed by a glamorous, all white reception at Jeff Stella’s studio. The Entertaining Company and The Cake Girls did an amazing job with food and details while DJ Sye Young mixed up the beats, taking the guests straight from wining and dining to one of the most smashing dance parties we have yet to see (This DJ is seriously one of the best in the country. . . he is so RAD!). Stephanie and Navid have some of the most wonderful people for friends and we felt like we could have hung out all night! Congratulations you guys!

Jess & Andy at Badger Farm

I am getting a little ahead of myself here because I have a couple other things I was wanting to post before this, but I couldn’t help myself. Only a few times a year do we get to shoot all day in amazing light. Thanks to Stephen Hamilton, whom I have the pleasure of working with almost every week, we met Jess and Andy and were able to be a part of their organic barn wedding in Wisconsin. I tried to limit the post to five pics as a teaser, but I couldn’t get away with it. I am sure I will post more when I have time to edit through all the images. Until then… enjoy. Congratulations Jess and Andy, we look forward to hanging out with you guys when you get back from your honeymoon!!
